About Chef Cynthia

I grew up in Staten Island, New York, the daughter of an Italian tug-boat Captain and a Polish homemaker.  My parents always had a home-cooked meal on the table and one meal was more delicious than the next.  My father would often have the mailman in our kitchen on a cold winter’s day for a bowl of his homemade soup.  My love for cooking was always there.  After working on Wall Street for 13 years and having three children, I decided to follow my dream and attend culinary school at Institute of Culinary Education in NYC at 40 years old.   I have been enjoying personal chef services and catering and my most recent venture is teaching cooking classes.  I’m passionate and detail-oriented and would love to share that with you!  Please visit the Services section of this website.


Worked as Garde Manger Chef At Aureole in NYC and studied in France with Michelin-rated Chefs.
